It is the mission of Lighthouse Boxer Rescue to assist Boxer Dogs who find themselves homeless, hungry, neglected and/or abused; to educate the public on responsible pet care, training and breeding; to offer services that will help reunite lost dogs with their owners; we are committed to helping these souls regardless of age, color or condition.

Who We Are

"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

Lighthouse Boxer Rescue was established in 2001 by 4 women who were dedicated to the Boxer breed, dedicated to saving Boxers in need and dedicated to educating the public on responsible pet care.

We are a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We exist and are dependant on the generous donations of people to keep the group up and running. Our volunteers are exactly that….volunteers. None of them are paid for their time or dedication to the group and breed. All proceeds from our online store, events and fundraisers benefit the dogs 100%.

Our mission and focus is always on the dogs that find their way into our organization. It’s not about us or about any people….it’s about the dogs who desperately need our help.

Today, we consist of people who have opted to devote their spare time in supporting and continuing in this endeavor.
